Enjoy practising the ancient art of yoga, a unique method for developing a healthy body and mind.
The combination of asanas and breath awareness in yoga is wonderfully designed to make our body strong and supple and our mind calm and receptive.
Nick's practise is based mainly on Iyengar yoga, which emphasises precision and alignment. But he
has also incorporated elements from other styles such as Astanga and Sivananda yoga. All these different schools accept as their philosophical inspiration the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, a system of moral, physical and mental exercise.
There will usually be two classes each day of this yoga holiday. The morning session will consist of practising asanas in a
dynamic and vigorous way. There will be evening practice on 4 days focussed on relaxing and restorative postures with time for pranayama
(breathing exercises) and meditation.
